Edward Cannatelli
FOUNDER & CO-OWNER
Edward Cannatelli is a successful veteran of real estate development and construction, with over 40 years of experience. He has successfully built a boutique design construction management firm, delivering exceptional results to his clients. He works closely with co-owner, Steven Tiezzi, in maintaining and growing the company. Edward handles financial, business development, and client relationships for the firm, as well as, maintaining a pulse on the overall project management process and direction of the company. He has received numerous industry awards for his exceptional work and commands a strong industry standard for excellence. Outside of work Edward can be found at the gym, sporting events, or spending time with his family, and especially his grandchildren.

Steve Tiezzi, AIA
CO-OWNER AND ARCHITECT
Steven joined Cannatelli Builders in the Summer of 2021 as a Co-Owner and fills the role of Chief Architect & Construction Officer. With 35 years of experience, Steven possesses a unique expertise as both an AIA Architect and a Builder. This allows Steven to work closely with each project Architect, Engineers and his team of subcontractors, in coordinating drawings prior to construction. This team building approach creates a more positive experience for our clients and ultimately saves costs and reduces the overall project schedules.
Steven’s career in construction started when he was very young. He grew up working on his father’s construction sites before studying Architecture. After receiving a Bachelor of Architecture degree in 1988, from Syracuse University, and studying 3 semesters in Florence, Italy, he accepted a position with Centerbrook Architects & Planners in Essex, CT. During his 13 years at the firm, Steven honed his skills in all aspects of design, construction, advancing technologies, and most importantly, his professional development and team-building skills. After his father passed in 2001, Steven started Tiezzi Construction, LLC, in honor of his father, which he ran for 20 years, before joining Cannatelli Builders. Steven’s knowledge and attention to detail are unparalleled, which enabled him to build unique, high-end residential and commercial projects in Connecticut before heading to Florida.
Outside of the office, Steven enjoys spending time with his family, cooking, cultivating his garden, racing go-carts and traveling to Italy.

Tony Rodriguez
CFO
Tony is a former CPA with 40 years of experience in controller and CFO positions. At Cannatelli Builders, he is involved in all company aspects relating to financial management, forecast modeling, and planning. As CFO, he works closely with both both owners of the firm, to ensure a complete and flawless transition of proper accounting procedures and operations. His broad experience spans across the globe from international, public and private companies and various industries including residential and commercial development and acquisition, hotels, luxury yachts, and industrial. Tony joined Cannatelli Builders in 2017 after his tenure as Vice President and CFO of the Ferretti Group of America. Born to a Puerto Rican family in New York City, when not at work, Tony enjoys sports, reading, and altruism.

Albert Rodrigues
PROJECT MANAGER
Albert Rodrigues is a construction professional and landscape architect with experience working on large, complex projects with multifaceted teams and challenges. He has successfully led projects from the planning stages to design development and through construction completion. He has a deep practical knowledge of landscape, architecture, structural design, MEP systems, and building construction.

Cesar Piantini
PROJECT MANAGER / SUPERINTENDENT
Cesar was born and grew up in the Dominican Republic. For as long as he can remember, he would help his mom with her interior Designs, which fueled his passion to Study Architecture. His Father, A Civil Engineer who dedicated his life to the restaurant industry, would always challenge him to design structures for his restaurants and paint them afterward. These experiences with his parents paved the way for him to become a designer/builder. While In College he interned with a very eccentric architect who taught him much of what he knows today. Cesar went on to open his own studio with a friend from high school. For three years they designed, built, and renovated interiors, commercial buildings, and restaurants. In 2017 he moved to Miami with his wife in pursuit of furthering his career. In his spare time, Cesar enjoys mountain biking, working out, and music. He has played the drums since he was 12 years old. He also has a passion for cooking, especially Italian food with a Caribbean twist.

Pat Paduano
PROJECT MANAGER
With 49 years in the industry, Pat is the man you want overseeing the construction of your home. Before joining Cannatelli Builders 6 and a half years ago, Pat worked for another large construction company, prior to which he owned his own business. Attention to detail and a pursuit of excellence are key characteristics of his project management style. On every job, Pat expects perfection from his subcontractors and also that the site remains clean and presentable at all times. Pat is from Jamestown, NY, and when he’s not whipping guys into shape on the job site, he is likely golfing or riding his Harley.

Kevin Cannatelli
PROJECT MANAGER
Kevin Joined Cannatelli Builders in February 2021 after moving to Florida from Delaware where he owned and operated his own construction company. He brought with him 35 years of experience in the industry, 25 running his own company, and 10 years working in the field. Kevin grew up in construction, working with his father, a mason, from when he was very young. When he got older, he studied at the University of Delaware. Today, Kevin plays an integral role on the Cannatelli team as a Project Manager. In his free time, Kevin will most likely be found golfing, fishing, or at the beach.

Randy French
SUPERINTENDENT
Randy French was born and raised in the greater Cincinnati area. He first got into the trades installing windows and doors with his father at a young age. After high school, Randy attended Cincinnati State’s aviation maintenance program were he found his passion for analytical skills and handcraft. He then got into carpentry around the time he met his wife, Beth , in 2010. Since then the two of them have had multiple adventures living in St. Kitts, Louisiana, and Tennessee before heading back to Ohio for the past 4 years. In that time Randy has worked his way through the ranks of construction from carpenter to superintendent having experience on both residential and commercial job sites.
Due to a new partnership and business opportunity for his wife, the French’s, including their dog Aldo, have now officially made South Florida their place to call home.

Cristian Baharona
SUPERINTENDENT
Cristian embarked on his journey to Florida from Chile in 1999, driven by a desire to support his father in the family's thriving residential renovation business. With a remarkable 18 years in the construction industry, including 6 years as a highly skilled Construction Superintendent, Cristian has honed his expertise in interpreting intricate plans and devising creative solutions to overcome any challenge and exceed project goals.
When he's not transforming spaces, Cristian treasures his time with his children. Whether it's guiding them through their homework or enjoying playful moments in the backyard, he finds joy in nurturing their growth and sharing quality family time. Weekends are a special occasion for Cristian, who relishes the chance to fire up the grill for a delicious barbecue. Surrounded by the warmth of his wife, the sizzle of great food, and the clink of fine wine, he embraces these moments of relaxation and connection with the people he loves most. -
Julianna Doria
PRE-CONSTRUCTION COORDINATOR
Julianna is a dynamic professional with a robust background in project administration. With five years of experience managing projects in Manhattan and Long Island, she has developed a reputation for her meticulous organizational skills and ability to streamline complex processes. Her tenure in the world of working at General Contractors in New York has afforded her a deep understanding of high-pressure project environments and sharpened her expertise in coordinating and executing large-scale initiatives. Her portfolio includes a rich tapestry of high-profile projects, from state-of-the-art hospitals and luxurious hotels to soaring high-rise condominiums and exhilarating amusement parks.
Outside of her professional endeavors, Julianna is a passionate advocate for a healthy and active lifestyle. She finds joy in a diverse range of exercises that keep her both physically and mentally invigorated. The moments she treasures most are those spent with her beloved dog and cherished family, where she savors the simple pleasures of life and creates treasured memories. Embracing her new surroundings with enthusiasm, Julianna is excited to continue her journey in South Florida, where every day brings new opportunities for both personal and professional growth.

Robin Cannatelli
PERMITTING
Robin moved to Florida in July 2021 from Fenwich Island, Delaware. She joined the Cannatelli team with over 25 years of construction experience. Robin enjoys spending time with her family, going on road trips, and anything outdoors.

PERMIT COORDINATOR
Margarita recently joined Cannatelli Builders, and infused the team with a wealth of experience and a vibrant energy that comes from a rich and varied career. Her impressive journey includes roles as a certified Permit Technician for the City of Margate and with a window company, showcasing her adeptness in navigating complex regulations and processes. Her diverse professional background spans insurance, legal, administrative, and customer service sectors, allowing her to seamlessly integrate a broad spectrum of skills and insights into the construction industry.
Originally from the heart of Texas, Margarita has proudly called South Florida home for over 30 years. Her deep-rooted connection to the community is reflected in her dedication to spending quality time with her family, staying active through regular exercise, and actively engaging in her church community. With a warm and welcoming demeanor, Margarita brings a touch of Southern charm and a wealth of knowledge to Cannatelli Builders, enhancing every project with her multifaceted expertise and passionate commitment.

Denise Lawrence
OFFICE MANAGER
Denise is originally from the Caribbean but has spent the last 25 years in South Florida between Islamorada and Fort Lauderdale. She joined the Cannatelli Builders team 3 years ago as an assistant and is now the office manager/bookkeeper. Denise loves everything that involves being in or around the ocean, she might have moved off an Island but she’s never far away from the water.

Valerie Griffin
Valerie joined Cannatelli Builders in early June 2024 as a Project Coordinator and Assistant to the Project Managers. Her interest in the construction industry originated from her father's career path, which started as a mason and advanced to Project Manager. Her passion to emulate her father's success drives her to eagerly learn all aspects of construction. Valerie is a lifelong resident of South Florida, having lived in various areas of the state but always returning home.
During high school, Valerie focused her extracurricular efforts on Airforce JROTC, excelling rapidly to earn officer ranks. This experience taught her the importance of teamwork and collaboration to achieve shared objectives. Her exceptional communication skills derive from over 10 years in customer service roles. Meanwhile, her attention to detail and organizational abilities stem from previous experience as an office manager.
